Picture this: 750 people, located in Luxembourg, all need to go on the annual cruise of the year! 

Do you really believe that any airline will have scheduled flights departing and returning at convenient times, to/from the most suitable airports, with that many empty seats? If you do, you might also consider that these people have to be made to feel special.

This was the scenario facing Benoit Duvivier, The Aviation Factory Passenger Charter Executive, recently. 

Benoit arranged four flights from Luxembourg, on separate Boeing 737 & Airbus 320 aircraft. 

Client's staff received personalized briefings, were greeted by our people at both airports; check-in and welcome on board of their aircraft & the head-rest covers carried the clients branding.

All together to the finals…

The match was contested between two Portuguese teams, FC Porto and Sporting Braga. The huge logistical effort of transporting thousands of fans from Portugal to the Irish capital was not an easy job. Various aircraft were utilized in different capacities; from 4-seater business jets over 180-seater narrow-body aircraft to +250-seater wide-bodies!!

Throughout the period, our 24 hour office-based operations team liaised with the end clients, some of largest tour operators in Portugal and the participating airlines, to ensure every flight ran smoothly and to schedule. 

The aviation factory also deployed staff to monitor the operations from the ground in Dublin - in order to address any issues that arose at the airport.

Snow chaos provides The aviation factory to prove the benefits of chartering.

During the last week of 2010 most of Europe experienced heavy disruption by the worst snowfall in 25 years.

As many scheduled airlines and major airports became non-operational of the snowfall, and simply closed down for days on end, several Clients turned to The aviation factory to solve their travel headaches.

One client, had his VVIP weekend trip to Geneva cancelled by the scheduled airlines.

Fortunately, our client was smart enough to realise there was another way.

One call to The aviation factory meant we were able to provide the group with a comfortable, 8 seat turboprop Beech King Air & 14 seat turboprop Beech 1900D, departing from a private airport terminal to the airport of Annecy that was still full operational in these winter conditions.

On the 20th December 2010 The aviation factory headquarters office receives multiple urgent requests for  private jets to be positioned at London airports 'asap' to get passengers back home after days of delays and cancellations on regular flights due to winter conditions.

The customers were stuck since trains were not leaving anymore, flights are delayed for many many hours etc etc. 

Within minutes The aviation factory succeeds to offer the customers a variety of aircraft flying back to Europe on empty legs, being positioned at multiple London Airports and our partners own aircraft able to depart immediately to the London area to bring people back home.

The efforts that we have done today were highly appreciated by all our clients!
